Cayan Tower

The Cayan Tower’s dynamic twisting shape challenges conventional architecture and redefines standards of luxury. Located at the entrance of Dubai Marina the 330 meters tall tower consists of 73 floors, each rotated at 1.08°degree.

About The Project

The structural 1.08° rotation caused MEP service locations to differ on every floor, requiring high coordination between project teams and simultaneous execution of MEP and structural works. The building’s twist also limited space in the vertical and circular core for fresh air and busbar risers, forcing them to be routed from the inner core to the outer twisted portion, which was challenging as the risers are vertical while the outer floors rotate 1.08° each level.

Structural Harmony

Engineering Precision in Motion

This project showcases technical ingenuity, where the building’s 1.08° rotation per floor demanded exceptional coordination between MEP and structural teams. With limited vertical core space, risers and fresh air systems were ingeniously routed through the rotating geometry — redefining conventional MEP execution with precision and collaboration.

Twisting Boundaries

Redefining Engineering in Dynamic Architecture

The tower’s 1.08° rotation per floor posed extraordinary challenges for MEP coordination. Our team reconfigured riser layouts and synchronized each floor’s design, turning a complex architectural concept into a seamless example of technical excellence and adaptive engineering.
